Parmegiana with Maltese Pork

Ingredients :

  • 4 pieces of lightly sliced pork thinly to the broccoli
  • egg
  • 4 tablespoons water
  • 3/4 cup of breadcrumbs
  • tablespoon of olive oil
  • canned spaghetti or pizza sauce
  • 75g grated mozzarela
  • 75g grated Parmeggiano
  • salt and pepper
Serves 4

How to cook :

In a bowl beat the egg and add to it the water and beat well. In a separate bowl mix the bread crumbs with a little salt and pepper. Pick up the pork pieces piece by piece and put them in the egg mixture. Then pour them into the bread crumb mixture and see that they are well covered.

In a non-stick pan, heat a little oil and cook the pork over medium heat for about two minutes each side. Lower the heat and pour a little spaghetti or pizza sauce over each of the pork pieces and pour over the grated cheese mixture. Cover the pan and let it cook for about another three minutes, or until the cheese melts.
