Spinach and Pork Salad

Ingredients :

  • 500g of Maltese Pork
  • 125ml Italian dressing with no fat
  • teaspoon white vinegar
  • teaspoon dijon mustard
  • teaspoon brown sugar
  • tablespoon olive oil
  • 250g chopped fresh spinach
  • 3 celery stems
  • A cup of seedless green grapes
  • Two finely chopped onions
  • 225g chestnuts
  • 1 large chopped apple
  • 2 kuċċarini żerrieġħa tal-ġunġlien mixwi
Serves 4

How to cook :

Cook the pork in a pan with a little olive oil and a little salt and pepper and let it cool. Cut the pork into thin strips. Meanwhile, in a small pan, mix the Italian dressing, vinegar, mustard, and sugar to melt, and continue to mix. keep warm.

Serve in a bowl, tossing the pork strips, spinach, grapes, onions, chestnuts, and apples. Pour the hot mixture over the salad, and pour in the sesame seeds.
